Reporting directly to the CEO and leading the finance team, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the Executive Team and supports the delivery of our strategic objectives through best practice financial governance, analytical modelling, sound investment, risk management, compliance and systems innovation across the business.
The CFO will lead key areas of the organisation including finance, data analysis, budgets/financial reporting, oversee external audits and provide leadership in the evaluation of short and long term strategic financial objectives and be a key figure in organisation planning and review.

Housing Administrator/Manager
Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-op
This is a contract role for 12 months with likelihood of a permanent position working four days.
The Housing Administrator/ Manager’s primary responsibility is to ensure the effective operation of the Northern Geelong Rental Housing Co-operative Ltd (NGRHC) and deliver on its strategic objectives. This role involves overseeing day-to-day activities by managing the ongoing development and maintenance of rentals, fostering compliance, management of member tenancies and applications, financial monitoring and promoting the development and cohesion of the NGRHC community.

The Role
As the Development Manager, you will be instrumental in identifying, assessing, and delivering new housing developments and asset redevelopments. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role is pivotal to CHL’s strategic direction and offers a unique blend of professional challenge and social impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Work closely with the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Development Officer to formulate and execute portfolio development and growth strategies.
- Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and assess new development opportunities aligned with CHL’s mission.
- Risk Mitigation: Conduct thorough project evaluations to identify and mitigate risks.
- Project Coordination: Lead cross functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Financial Management: Oversee project budgets and collaborate with the Finance department for effective accounting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage and foster strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across government, nonprofit, and private sectors.
