SENIOR REGULATORY ANALYST

Reporting to the Regulation Manager, the Senior Regulatory Analyst (ongoing, VPS5) will assist the team in delivering regulatory reform projects, data capture and analysis, performance monitoring, regulatory reporting, and be involved in a range of strategic joint government projects. This role will also work within the Housing Registrar team to regulate a portfolio of community housing agencies (registered agencies) as lead regulator, including delivering annual compliance assessments.

This is a role that you can make your own. It is a hands-on role and sits in a team that offers opportunities to work on interesting and varied projects with senior engagements and opportunities that directly contribute to decision making for the community.

The role is diverse and interesting, involving both admin and community engagement activities. With the organisation in a phase of managing a growing housing stock, the position is commencing on a casual basis, with opportunity for permanency. Tasks include:

The Senior Manager Housing Services is a newly created leadership position responsible for the oversight and development of effective housing services across Uniting’s community housing and retirement village operations to ensure quality outcomes for tenants and residents.

The role provides leadership to tenancy teams across Victoria to ensure Uniting delivers high quality, consumer focused housing services reflecting industry best practice and ensuring services comply with legislation, regulatory performance standards and contractual obligations.

The Senior Manager Housing Services will play a lead role in positioning housing services for growth as Uniting aims to increase its impact in providing community housing across Victoria and Tasmania, supporting the welling of individuals, families and communities.
