The Introduction to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a short course aimed at providing homelessness and community housing workers a clear understanding of the scheme and how they can support someone with accessing and utilising the NDIS.

This session will build on the learnings from the “Overview and Eligibility” eLearn course accessible from the CHIAVic website, so please ensure that you have completed this course prior to the session.

Future training sessions will be offered that will explore the “Accessing the NDIS” and “Planning for tenancy support” eLearn modules.

It would be suitable for:

  • Front line staff interacting with community housing tenants
  • Housing managers
