How much do you know about housing practice which responds to the diversity of renters and their needs? Improving your understanding of effective housing practice results in improved quality of services and higher renter satisfaction.

In community housing we work with vulnerable clients and complex needs. We need to have a good understanding of renters and know how to communicate well and build relationships.

This course will build your understanding of renters’ needs and expectations. You’ll learn about key elements of person-centred housing practice that will result in better outcomes for renters and improved satisfaction with housing services.

Skye is an experienced practitioner in community housing, public housing, and homelessness services. They have almost 20 years’ experience spanning tenancy management, casework, street outreach, service design, and senior management roles. They are currently completing a PhD exploring the ways that lived/living experience knowledge might contribute to the end of homelessness in Australia.
