Introduction to Community Housing for Local Government

This course provides an overview of the community housing sector in Victoria and includes examples of community housing projects, and partnerships with local councils. It aims to help council officers and Councillors better understand the community housing sector and explain it to their communities.

• Explain what community housing organisations do, and how they are regulated and funded.  
• Identify opportunities for partnerships between local government and community housing organisations
