The Haven Foundation Frankston two-storey residential development, comprising 18 self-contained apartments, was officially opened in Frankston on November 2018, and was made possible by $3.7 million funding from the Victorian Government.
Haven Foundation Frankston is a community housing organisation established to provide housing for socially and financially disadvantaged people living with enduring mental illness.
The development provides fully self-contained single bedroom apartments for residents, as well as common kitchen, dining, recreation and meeting areas with around-the-clock support for residents delivered by Mind Australia, one of the country’s leading community mental health service providers, who also link residents with education, training and employment support.
The residence is purpose-designed to look and function like any other well designed residential development.
