Victoria is currently the only state to have developed residential tenancy laws for NDIS funded specialist disability accommodation (SDA). Join SDA compliance specialist, Rosie Beaumont, for an introduction to Section 12A of the Victorian Residential Tenancies Act and the duties and rights of registered SDA providers and residents.

In this 2 hour session you will learn how SDA provisions differ from  Victoria’s mainstream residential tenancy law and pick up some good practice tips for compliance. Specific topics will include:

  • developing an SDA Residency Agreement
  • providing tenancy information to a resident
  • rent and other charges
  • maintenance and repairs
  • issuing notices
