HousingFirst in Parkville

HousingFirst is increasing its presence at Parkville Gardens with 151 new homes to be built alongside Melbourne’s greenest space.

 The $55 million Parkville Gardens project is being developed in partnership with Citta Property Group, Frasers Property Australia and Development Victoria.

 Available to people from the Victorian Housing Register, these well-located apartments will include environmentally sustainable design features, a dedicated HousingFirst services office and communal space for community development programs.

Parkville Gardens incorporates a diverse range of housing products and services including an aged care facility, childcare facilities, parklands, affordable and private homes.

The Parkville precinct also includes Melbourne’s largest green space Royal Park including wetlands and walking paths.

Construction is due to commence September 2021 with completion scheduled for November 2022.

HousingFirst received funding for this project through the Victorian Governments Social Housing Growth fund and Development Victoria.
