This training will help you as a representative of a community housing organisation to prepare and present effectively to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT).  

Learning outcomes 

  • Understand the role and structure of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal  
  • Identify the types of tenancy issues that may involve a VCAT process 
  • Demonstrate how the Human Rights Charter applies when dealing with breaches and disputes 
  • Understand correct processes to follow when dealing with VCAT

Simon Wade has worked in the Community Housing Sector for over 15 years, working nationally and internationally in a suite of roles from operational management to policy development, systems and business improvement. Simon has extensive experience building tailored programs, developing and conducting training as well as creating partnerships integrating localised needs to meet broader Government targets.
