Toolkit to assist members to help victim-survivors
CHIA Vic has developed a Family Violence Toolkit with resources and templates to assist community housing organisations to recognise and respond to renters and staff who are impacted affected by family violence.
Not only are community housing staff well placed to detect signs of family violence, but the sector will be obligated to comply with the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) Framework in early 2021.
Used in combination with family violence training, CHIA Vic’s toolkit will help the sector foster best practice in relation to family violence and its role as a key part of a multi-agency response to this all too prevalent issue.
A Users’ Guide to the Toolkit is also available to assist you to quickly access the required information.
