My client purchased this property just before the Covid pandemic struck and the building sits there empty and vacant. Our architect has re-designed the two-storey office building to accommodate 76 x 1 bedroom studios, however this can be re-configured into a mix of 1, 2 & 3 bedroom units should there be a request to do so.
This project would help reduce the strong demand for community housing and would be able to be delivered in a relatively shorter amount of time as the main structure or ‘carcass’ is already standing.
The project is still in the infancy stages and would require some input as to requirements before planning can be officially submitted. Hopefully some ‘fast tracking’ would see a handover within 18 months.
