Homes Victoria held its first Social Procurement Industry Breakfast on 10 May, bringing together over 150 guests from the building and construction sectors, priority employment providers, and social benefit suppliers.
The event included presentations from the Hon Colin Brooks MP, Minister for Housing, and industry leaders from Kinaway Chamber of Commerce and Social Traders. Presentations contained valuable insights into the potential of social procurement to create positive social and economic outcomes. Attendees had a chance to network, explore potential partnerships, and exchange ideas.
