With Homes Victoria CHSD Funding, CHIA Vic has commenced the Community Housing Workforce Development Project 2022-2025 which will include the development and implementation of a comprehensive workforce development strategy for the Community Housing Sector, towards ensuring the sector has the workforce it requires to meet its future growth as part of Victoria’s Big Housing Build.

CHIA Vic would like to invite Human Resource and Learning and Development leads from Community Housing Organisations (CHOs) to a webinar to provide them with an introduction to the Project, including:

  • Project objectives – how it will assist CHOs in achieving their future workforces,
  • How the Project will roll out over 2022-2025, and
  • How CHOs can be influence and shape the sector’s first sector-wide, Workforce Strategy.

An update regarding CHIA Vic’s Training current program will also be provided.

Most importantly, this will also be an opportunity to hear from you, the sector’s HR & L&D leads, on ways the Project and CHIA Vic can ongoing best engage work with you, including looking at the merits of creating an ongoing forum to support information and resource sharing, specifically for CHO HR & L&D leads.
